چکیده

The application of fuzzy logic is an effective approach to a variety circumstances, including solutions maritime anti-collision problems. article presents upgrade the radar navigation system, in particular, its collision avoidance planning tool, using decision model that combines dynamic parameters into one decision—the course. In this paper, multi-parametric based on proposed. calculates course alteration situation. First, collects input data target vessel and assesses risk. Using time delay, four are calculated for further processing as variables inference system. Then, method used calculate alteration, which considers vessel’s safety domain International Regulations Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREGs). special feature tuning with results database correct obtained manual plotting method. validation was carried out six selected cases simulating encounters open sea from different angles any visibility. case studies have shown computes well situations where own give-way position. addition, provides good when violates COLREG rules. tool can be automated serve basis implementation manoeuvrability vessels, weather conditions, multi-vessel encounter situations.

Fuzzy Decision on Optimal Collision Avoidance Measures for Ships in Vessel Traffic Service

This article proposes a new collision avoidance decision method for ships, allowing ships at risk of collision to take timely collision avoidance measures to ensure safe passage. Through vessel traffic service (VTS) collision alert system, an analysis can be made for the probability of a ship collision and an early warning can be issued. For ships in potential collision danger, the proposed met...

Collision Avoidance Algorithms: Multi-agent Approach

The paper deals with the methods for detection and avoidance of collisions of autonomously moving vehicles utilizing the principles and techniques of multi-agent systems. Three different scenarios are discussed: (i) movement of AGVs in 2D space with fixed trajectories, (ii) movement of autonomous robots in an open 2D space and (iii) collision-free flights of unmanned aerial vehicles. For each c...

Fuzzy logic based decision making system for collision avoidance of ocean navigation under critical collision conditions

This paper focuses on a fuzzy logic based intelligent decision making system that aims to improve the safety of marine vessels by avoiding collision situations. It can be implemented in a decision support system of an oceangoing vessel or included in the process of autonomous ocean navigation. Although Autonomous Guidance and Navigation (AGN) is meant to be an important part of future ocean nav...

Hospital leanness assessment model: A fuzzy MULTI-MOORA decision making approach

The aim of this paper is to determine the critical factors in successful implementation of a lean healthcare system in a hospital. Despite the recent developments in lean hospitals, there is a long route to traverse in order to get close to the maturity stage of the leanness. We propose an approach in which the most important leanness criteria are determined and the leanness of a given hospital...

Fuzzy collision avoidance for industrial robots

In advanced robotics, there is still a strong need for a fast reactive collision avoidance computable in realtime in order to prevent the robot from hazardous situations during motion. Most of these situations occur due to unforeseen events (e.g. collision objects entering the workspace accidently) or incorrect remote operation (e.g. scenery misinterpretation during teleoperation). Handling of ...
